FAQs
Halal Joints is London's No.1 Halal food finder app with over 13,000 foodies and 900 restaurants.
Our mission is to support the Halal dining industry and make sure it is here to stay. We do this by empowering restaurants with the tools they need to offer high-quality experiences to keep Halal customers coming back.
We help restaurants understand Halal diners better and provide them with the technology and expertise they need to leverage digital platforms for growth. We charge restaurants a fee for the services, technology, expertise and exposure we provide.
We anonymise dining activity data collected through our products and other third-party platforms and use it to generate weekly and monthly reports. These reports are then used to empower our restaurant partners to make mission-critical decisions for their businesses.
For example, a restaurant may express their interest in opening another branch and seek our assistance in choosing a location. Using our anonymised data, we are able to guide the restaurant to consider areas where we believe their brand or cuisine will florish. This way, restaurants can reduce the risk when expanding - and diners can look forward to new experiences in their local areas!
No. And we take this very seriously. As a business with the word 'Halal' in our name, we feel a strong duty to uphold the ethics and practises of a Halal business. Under no circumstances what-so-ever is your data ever sold to a third-party without your explicit permission.
We do anonymise data to identify trends and help restaurants expand. But even then, there is no way that you can be personally identified from this information. To reduce the risk of compromise, we clear any unused data and inactive user profiles every three months.
We want to take the City Mapper approach and expand to all cities where we see a demand for our service. Halal diners have been overlooked and under-served for far too long and it's time to change that. Halal diners are demanding for a platform that puts their needs first, so whatever you, the Halal diner, asks for - we will do our best to serve.
