Taco Taco

Went for the Prime Beef Corn (gluten free) Taco which was fresh and delicious. The fillings were amazing and the ambience in the place was cool. I’m Gluten free and they had so many options for me on their menu. 100% recommend.

Had the salmon and prawn tacos. Super tasty. With the side of crispy corn. Properly one of the best tacos I’ve had! Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Seriously delicious, fresh, fast, friendly and Knowledgeable staff happy to recommend but not pushy at all. Clean and fun!

This is a new Taco restaurant in the heart of East London. Premises opened on 15/09/2023. My visit was on 18/09/23

To get to this restaurant, you’re looking at a 11-13 mins walk from Liverpool Street Station. Overground, Central Line, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Circle & District Lines (Underground Tube)

Firstly, I like to start off by saying that Michael and his brother, were very, very hospitable and a very warm, excellent customer service from the outset.

Okay, so what was purchased.

Peruvian Chicken, Mayan Veggie Bites, Salmon Poke, Mayan Veggie Bites, Corn Elote Salad

Was kindly given a few freebies; Albajores

I’m going to be brutally honest about each Taco flavour and to manage expectations, don’t expect an authentic Mexican Taqueria (lugar de tacos)

Peruvian Chicken - very dry and no seasoning on the pulled chicken. Have suggested to do a Birria style pull chicken

Prawn Star - no citrus balance and most definitely no Smokey prawns. Think naked prawn cocktail.

Mayan Veggie Bites - this was the sleeper hit Taco for me. However, the only criticism i have is the flavours are not Mayan related, more Asian theme. So have suggested to what ingredients that the Mayan ancient civilisation did use; i.e. Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, etc.

Salmon Poke - I’d customised mine and made it slightly better. The salmon has no soy sauce marination or citrus tone. A vital  ingredient to use for salty, acidity tones to the profile of the taco. Have suggested to use Ponzu sauce marination for the Salmon.

Corn Elote Salad - regrettably this needs an overhaul for its recipe. It was to me just corn in mayonnaise with a sprinkling of seasoning which doesn’t assist the corn whatsoever. This side was very weak.

Albajores (Freebie) - lack of filling and very, very dry when consumed. It zaps away any moisture you have in your mouth.

Beverage selection was okay. Had a raspberry lemonade. This is branded and not in house made.

They have a disabled toilet.

Parking will be somewhat difficult to find.

They will be opening a second location in Covent Garden.

An interesting concept but still requires some tweaks here and there on their food menu. Don’t know how many food tasting samples they had prior to launch?

Meicasso Restaurant

Visited for a birthday dinner - experience was great! The food was presented beautifully and we're sufficient portions. Staff were quick even with a small number of people and were very open to answering any questions we had on the food our drinks. Overall great experience!

Amazing atmosphere to enjoy food and chill with vibes. Definitely worth coming back. Friendly Staff especially Haider the best services kept asking for anything needed. 10/10 recommend friends and family.

Today was a soft opening of the new Pan Asian restaurant in Tooting. After waiting in the q for nearly 1.5 hr, we made it inside. The interior reminds a bustling cave or grotto. Staff was polite and friendly and seemed a bit lost. We came there with the intention to try the pan asian dishes. Unfortunately, they were unavailable 😕 My main course came before the starters. Steak was tender and chicken juicy. As a first visit, it was fair. Definitely will give a second chance to satisfy my curiosity 😌

Visited this newly opened restaurant on its second day of opening and attracted by the unique and eye catching interior we decided to give it a try. The Pan Asian cuisine catered for all our varying tastes so really happy to see this menu now available in Tooting.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating and paid close attention to our food allergies. The food arrived very quickly and staff kept checking on us.

A special thanks to Zahra the manager who also came over to ensure we were looked after and if we needed anything. A lovely personal touch.

Overall a very enjoyable evening, great staff and service, lovely food with great flavours and generous portions. Will definitely return.

Love the Nasi Kandar buffet, very authentic flavours, my favourite was the Sambal prawns which was spicy and  delicious. Curry puffs are also the best I found in London. Really great value at £14.95, beautiful ambience too

My wife and i love your nasi kandar so much, i personally love the lamb kurma and sambal prawn, sedap betul! Will go again.

The staff was friendly. The starter seafood chowder and main course fried rice was delicious. The fried rice truly authentic asian taste. Highly recommend to come here.

Nice and cosy place to dine in, especially when you’re craving for Malaysian food and a good teh tarik👍. Excellent service. If you’re lucky, they may have the Kelantanese fish cracker in stock 😎

We arrived early and I think the service team was just warming up. Nevertheless, the food was outstanding and we received a warm welcome from the chef, who you could tell was a true professional. We were served free desserts and sambal belacan, which had us breaking out in sweat at the end of the meal. The spring rolls and vegetarian options were out of this world. What also stood out was the use of authentic whole spices in the curries which feels/tastes like home. The fresh ingredients speak volume about the quality of the food as well. Pls get the word out and fully support this endeavour. It was a very quiet lunch service sadly, probably a sign of times. Will definitely come back soon. Best compliments to the chef and team. We've come here multiple times and this is one of the best most authentic halal Thai restaurant we've been to. The Chef is a lovely Thai lady with over 20 years of experience and you can taste the care that goes into each dish with its unique flavours and undertones.

Everything we ordered here was perfect. A personal favourite is the papaya salad, refreshing, crunchy and fresh. The Thai green curry had a really nice flavour and the chicken wings are super unique. Portion sizes, including meat per dish is really good and when they say spicy, they mean Thai level spicy!

A small menu, a small restaurant with everything executed perfectly and really good service - polite and helpful wait staff who can give you suggestions depending on what you're after.

Absolutely smashing and I'll keep coming back for sure. Thanks for a great experience!

We visited for a late lunch early dinner. Food was excellent, we enjoyed every plate that we ordered. We felt that the portions were alot, which I guess is a good thing. Prices are ok. They also treated us to in house tea and coffee, thank you for that. Interior is lovely, restaurant and rest room was clean. We'll definitely be back.

Service was good as is the ambience in this halal Thai restaurant.  The food however was altogether a different story.  We used to have a good Thai restaurant in Clayhall which changed ownership and went to pot.  Thought this would be a good alternative but unfortunately not.  Can't recommend and won't be gonig again which is a shame as the restaurant and food do look the part but the food tastes no where near as good as it looks.

I really enjoyed the Thai red curry which was super tasty and creamy. Then the pad noodles with beef were very nice. The starters were ok. The shop decor is wonderful. Rafi took very good care of us especially when we requested for not too much ice in our mojito.

I am from India and I know indian food. This place serve really good food. Also, my wife is spanish and she is already fond of this place. We come here almost every week. Food is really good and staff is really lovely. They care for customer. Love it.

I would give 0 star if I could! Placed order through Uber Eats. After waiting for what seems like an eternity, the order was cancelled after waiting for more than an hour! Three riders attempted to pickup the order but failed! Ridiculous! If you can't fulfilled the order, best not to accept it!

Lovely service with good food. The coconut ice cream was amazing

Great food, great cocktails, great staff, unfortunately the only disabled toilet is filled with chairs! :(
