Service was great, food was great, the atmosphere was great.

Very juicy chicken and awesome fries. Their sauce is game changing. However, do beware of their spice levels as things can get quite spicier than anticipated.

Wow! The absolute BEST service I have experienced in a very long time at a restaurant. Have to shout out Mali and Arsalan they were so accommodating and friendly and helpful. First time at any Dave’s Hot Chicken and will definitely be back to this location 100% based on personable and exceptional service my daughter and I received. Watched as they gave the same level and quality of service to every guest that walked through their doors. Ordered #2s, mac cheese, kale slaw. Made to perfection. Very fast as well. Highly recommend !

My colleague recommended the restaurant and came for a quick lunch. Nice, clean & spacious dinning area.
They mainly do chicken tenders and sliders so the main dish options are quite limited.
The food quality and portion were great. Ordered the medium heat fries with tenders. Fresh fries and chicken were delicious, combine with shredded kale and  pickles.
The only downside was their lack of staffs. Perhaps we showed up at 11:30am was too early, there was only one person working super hard between kitchen and front desk. Took us quite sometime to get the order in and pick up the food.
Hope they can improve this in the future and it will be one great place grab quick and delicious food.

Very cute spot, love the interior. They have a lot of seating space. The food was really good, the Mac and cheese, the fries, the sliders. They all tasted amazing! Would come back again.

i think we got the #2 but i’m not too sure. it’s the two slider combo but it’s pretty good. make sure to ask for honey packets as it adds some more flavours to it when you try! pretty good tenders and fries were also delicious. the milkshake however was straight up ice cream and frozen 😭
overall it was really good. i would just wish i didn’t have to pay a lot to get it delivered 🥲 was in the area so could try!

Tried Dave’s Hot Chicken here recently and honestly I was impressed! I’ve had Dave’s a couple of times in the US and enjoyed it, but the sliders there were a bit on the drier side. Here was different — sliders were really tender, juicy, and flavorful. Perfect crunch too.

Also, the staff here were super friendly and warm, which made the experience even better.

First time at Dave’s hot chicken and at this location in Midtown. Went with the guys from work. Service was quick. It wasn’t too busy around 1 PM. Location looked clean and had a good vibe. Food was ready quickly, and I got a chocolate milkshake as well. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures as I was hungry and the food looked delicious and I dug right in. I got the slider with fries,really tasty with just the right amount of crispy. Will definitely return. Staff were friendly. Thanked us when we left. Everything was packaged well and the place was clean. There was seating available although we took ours to go…excellent first experience!

Staff are super friendly. They are helpful with the menu and can give you a good idea about the spice levels.  Your order comes quick.  The chicken is very tender and the fries are crispy.  Really enjoy the design of this restaurant inside and out.  Clean facility.  Free WiFi.  Unlimited refills on drinks.  Seems there is always some kind of monthly menu item.  Patio available. Walk up order window available.  No credit card surcharge.  Prices are a little high for the potions.  Floors can be slippery when wet.

Reaper tender is crazy!!!
Dave’s is the best chicken tender spot in Toronto. Came here for lunch with my scholarly esteemed colleague and i must say the quality is consistently great given I am a frequent customer. Also tried the Reaper which I had to sign a waiver for.

Chicken always juicy, beautifully seasoned and the batter to chicken ratio is perfect. Fries always crispy and seasoned. Pickles add that great touch and the sauce is perfect.

However, please note my esteemed colleague did not appreciate how the seasoning on the chicken is powdery and not perfectly blended into the meat. I on the other hand, enjoy that trait.

Moving on to the infamous Reaper tender, it is quite spicy but I had been expecting even worse. I did not cry or act like an animal the way you see those trying it online, maybe because I had a tub of ice cream on hand. My colleague also tried the reaper and she found it light work with not much reaction. Spice burn only lasted 5 minutes don’t be scared to try it.

I decided to try Dave's Chicken as I was working in that area and their reviews looked promising. Ordered myself a slider with fries and medium drink. The taste is basic, nothing special about their sauce or spices, its just a regular burger that you can devour in 4 to 5 bites. I felt it is a bit expensive considering the size of the slider, amount of fries, and the size of medium soda cup.
Joe was taking orders and I stood at the register long enough to feel agitated. He was busy sorting out receipt rolls and seemed like he didn't care much about a customer's presence. Took him some time to get to me and take my order.
The restaurant itself was clean but the music being played almost popped my ear drums. I mean, what is the point of playing music at 100 decibles, its a restaurant and not a night club. I mean I literally had to speak louder than usual while talking to my friends, it was too much for my liking.
I won't be going there again.

Stopped by Dave’s Hot Chicken on Queen St. and tried two combos — one spicy and one not spicy. The non-spicy chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, definitely a solid option if you want the taste without the heat. The spicy chicken, though, was extremely hot — way beyond what we expected. If you’re not used to very high spice levels, it can be overwhelming, so it’s better for those who really love a challenge.

Both combos came with fries, coleslaw, and bread, and the portions were generous. The fries were crispy and well seasoned, and the coleslaw helped cool things down. Service was quick and friendly, and the restaurant itself had a casual, modern vibe with plenty of seating. Prices are fair for the amount of food you get.

Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re craving fried chicken, but be cautious with the spice levels — the hot options are no joke!

I’ve been to multiple locations for Dave’s Hot Chicken, both in Canada and U.S. so far this location has the greatest customer service and their food was 10/10.
The cashier was very welcoming and friendly, unfortunately i didn’t get the chance to ask for his name and thank him, but whoever was there on Sunday, June 8 after 8:00pm you are one of the nicest cashiers i met. Thanks you for a great experience.

I tried Dave’s Chicken on a friend’s recommendation, and it was absolutely delicious! The tenders were crispy, spicy, and full of flavor, and the fries were great too. It’s mainly a takeout spot, as the dine-in experience wasn’t very comfortable. Busy place!!

Soft and juicy chicken tenders with Crispy Fries and Dev’s Sauce……Just wanna say owo….I will try bigger combos with 2 sliders next time. Definitely coming back. Loved it.
